Poetry

Resurrection

Know with a surety

You are dying the death of obscurity

Unseen, unheard

Yet, hold onto this sure word

Did not Moses die this same death

Until My set time when He and I met

By the bush that was burning?

There I revealed to Him my deepest yearning

For Pharaoh

To let my people go.

To such a time we have returned

And surely again the bush shall burn.

I only ask that you turn

To see Me

And go to set My people free.

It is you I have chosen

So, do not stand frozen

With doubt or fear

Rather, draw ever near

To Me

Come and see

The bush that is burning

Come feel My deepest yearning

For Pharaoh

To let My people go

That they may worship Me,

The One who sets them free.

They will worship Me in Spirit and Truth

The eldest even to the unborn youth

So, know with a surety

You are dying the death of obscurity

Unseen, unheard

Yet, hold onto this sure word

Did not Moses die this same death

Until My set time when He and I met

By the bush that was burning?

There you too will embody my deepest yearning

And go to set the captives free

So that they may worship Me.

I will not change your purpose

I will not allow you to remain on the surface

Of My will

So, Peace, be still

Know with a surety

You will dive into the depths of obscurity.

And you WILL die there

But, you will not lie there

For I will raise you to new life

And take you as my beloved wife

Together we shall go

To confront Pharaoh

And all men will know

You are a seed that I sowed

Who died the death of obscurity

And I resurrected with a surety

To become

One

With Me

And set My people free.
