This year has come to an end
A new year is set to begin
Time to set goals and try something new
This time we are going to follow through
No giving up by February again
Seems like the cycle never ends
A new resolution stated in jest
and yet we fail to give our best
A new work out plan to get healthy
A five-minute plan to get wealthy
Pay off this debt or pay that
We often fall flat.
Enough of that negative talk—
It’s time for a new walk
A road filled with trials ahead
We overcome them all by actions and words said
A focus renewed
A new great pursuit
Untapped strength discovered
Our faith keeps us covered
An original plan all laid out
Passion to succeed, without a doubt
Our vision is enhanced
Every day is a chance
To accomplish the great,
we have the power to change our fate
to do more than than we can imagine
Slay our dragons
Not seeing any boundary
Life is not black and white: binary
Possibilities vary
And even the future seems scary
We have no reason to be wary
On the contrary
We should have excitement and anticipation
We have every indication
We can view the past as being in the rear
This new year will be the very best year
