“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”

Have you ever found yourself worrying about where your next meal would come from, or how you were going to pay your bills, or take care of your family? You look at your paycheck and wonder how in the world you are going to make it stretch. Have you felt like you had to rob Peter to pay Paul? If you have ever found yourself thinking in the manners previously stated, then you have forgotten that God is your source, not your job. You have chosen to trust in a limited resource, which is your job, instead of your ultimate source, which is God. We put more faith in our jobs than we do God sometimes.

creek-21749_1280God is not confined to supplying what we need by our jobs. God can supply all of our needs in whatever way He desires. God knows what we need even before we ask Him. The problem is many don’t talk to God about their needs but will try to fill those needs themselves by means outside of God. Instead of trying to work things out on your own, trust God and invite Him into your situation. Allow Him to demonstrate to you that He is well able to take care of you and all your needs. Step back from the situation and allow God to do what He does best and that is being God! He is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that you could ask or think. Remember, we are talking about the God who fed over 5,000 people with two fish and five loaves of bread. I am pretty sure He can and will supply all you need and more. Just have faith and believe it is possible!
